André Eisermann

André Eisermann loves to tell stories. Whether in front of the camera, on the theater stage or as a narrator - taking his audience into the world of his characters is his passion. As the child of a family of showmen, he has been aware of the enchanting magic inherent in every story since his earliest childhood. You just have to tell it right. After training as an actor at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich, André performed at the Münchner Kammerspiele and the Theater in der Josefstadt, among others, before making his breakthrough as a film actor with the role of "Kaspar Hauser" in Peter Sehr's movie the same name. He then played Johannes Elias Alder in Joseph Vilsmaier's adaptation of the novel "Schlafes Bruder", which was nominated for a Golden Globe, among other awards. Since then, André Eisermann has appeared in numerous theater, movie and television productions. Together with Mario Adorf, he was one of the co-founders of the Nibelungen Festival in Worms, where he appeared in various productions for 15 years. At the Salzburg Festival, André took on the role of "Puck" in Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" under the direction of Leander Haußmann. He has worked with Ruth Berghaus, Christoph Schlingensief, Karin Beier and the unforgotten theater maker George Tabori, among others. André Eisermann is a playwright in the best sense of the word, full of enthusiasm for his profession and curious about the many stories yet to be told.
