Philip Bender, born and raised in Berlin, discovered his passion for playing with roles and identities at an early age. Even as a child, he was on stage with great curiosity and enthusiasm. Today, he not only lives out his passion for creative work as an Actors , but also demonstrates his versatility in his projects as a film producer and works as a visual artist. He presented his first solo exhibition in Düsseldorf in 2021, with intense works in the style of Art Brut.

Acting is at the heart of his work. For Philip, it is more than a profession, it is an inner necessity to express himself through characters, to tell stories and to reach people emotionally. He is particularly interested in playing with fractures, contradictions and the fine line between strength and vulnerability.

His long-term goal is to realize his own material, both in front of and behind the camera. Since 2009, he has been developing and producing his own projects together with screenwriter Michael Glassauer. His focus is on independent narrative forms intended for arthouse cinemas and international festivals.
