We read online how Schmyt fans wrote that the timing was bad for this sentence, reminding us of the McCarthy era in the USA. Back then, people in the United States of America were persecuted for not publicly distancing themselves from communism. Such an approach is an axe to the fundamental values of a free democracy.

We do not support a general distancing from Russian artists, we love Russian literature, music, films and the Russian soul!
