Really getting involved with someone

From today, the first series by Oscar winner Caroline Link can be seen in the ZDF Mediathek.

Kantinka and Tom run a practice for child and adolescent psychotherapy in Berlin. Here, young clients find a safe space and professional help.
There are, for example, 15-year-old Nellie (Carla Hüttermann), who suffers from panic disorder, and Sam, a juvenile delinquent who is passed from one foster family to the next, or six-year-old Ronja, who bites other children at kindergarten and has a particularly close relationship with her father. With the help of play and talk therapy, the two therapists try to help the children.
As competent as Katinka and Tom are in their jobs, they have doubts and wavering in their private lives. Tom faces new challenges as a father when his teenage daughter Hanna (Ella Lee) suddenly decides to move to Berlin to live with him. Katinka has to deal with her overbearing father Robert and has an affair with married doctor Michael, from which she increasingly suffers.
The series shows in a gripping way how the lives and mental states of the children and adults change and develop over the course of several months.

SAFE will be shown on ZDFneo from 08.11.22 at 20:15.
