Anni (Martha Haberland) has moved from the city to the countryside with her family. A culture shock awaits her there at first. The eleven-year-old girl still has to get used to her new surroundings. But she gets help from the wild horse Ponyherz, with whom she forms a very special bond. Together with the horse, she not only defends herself against mean classmates, but even puts horse thieves to flight. And then there's the Count of Merfeld, who can be seen here in this photo with Martha Haberland and director Markus Dietrich.
