Gerit Kling and Lilli Hollunder are both in the main cast of this popular Hamburg series and who would have thought that the St. Pauli Kiez would one day be part of an illustrious group of competitors like these: "Bridgerton" (Netflix), "Lockerbie - A Search for Truth" (Carnival Studios), "The Day of the Jackal" (Carnival Studios) and "Awesome Animals and Mini Me" (Three Arrows Media).
Screen International has announced the shortlist for this year's Global Production Awards, which will honor outstanding and sustainable achievements in the world of movie and TV production, exciting locations and exceptional initiatives on sustainability and diversity in a total of 16 award categories: NOTRUF HAFENKANTE - produced by LETTERBOX FILMPRODUKTION for ZDF - has made it onto the shortlist in the "Sustainable Production Award (TV)" category.
Filming recently began for the 20th season. In a total of 24 new episodes, viewers can once again expect many exciting criminal cases straight from the Waterkant. The anniversary season also features familiar and new faces - the main ensemble includes Sanna Englund, Matthias Schloo, Zehjun Demirov, Rhea Harder-Vennewald, Raúl Richter, Lilli Hollunder, Marc Barthel, Gerit Kling, Tino Führer, Manuela Wisbeck, Fabian Harloff and Hanife Sylejmani.
NOTRUF HAFENKANTE is shown every Thursday at 7.25 pm on ZDF.
