LikeMeat - Christmas campaign
For its first Christmas campaign, LikeMeat brought on board a testimonial that rarely appears in advertising: Martin Semmelrogge. In the funny spot, he surprises with his woker attitude and shows that he has a perfect command of youth language. Our ageing teenager is the star of the new LikeMeat Christmas campaign, with which the brand from Livekindly is promoting its plant-based meat substitutes as the ideal alternative to the traditional Christmas dinner with lots of meat.
The centerpiece of the presentation is a 90-second online film in which Martin sits at the dining table and praises the benefits of LikeMeat products without pausing for breath. The highlight: he dispels prejudices about his generation of boomers by not only presenting himself as a woke flexitarian who no longer gives a damn about meat, but also shines with the skillful use of hip youth language:
