LAMIA goes Hamburg

LAMIA will now premiere in competition at the Hamburg Film Festival. We are very pleased about that.

Nadjim is the uncle of the main character Lamia and in this role Raschid Daniel Sidgi can prove that he doesn't just speak Arabic, but also with an Algerian accent, which was important for authenticity here. It is about a young student in Berlin whose parents have a history of Algerian migration. The series tells the story of Lamias' everyday life and how she emancipates herself from her parents, breaks away and begins to find her own identity.

The picture shows Raschid with his wonderful director Süheyla Schwenk.
