After her year in New Zealand, Karin (Maren Kroymann) returns to Germany full of vigor and energy. And she will need plenty of both: Together with her friends (Barbara Sukowa) and Gerhard (Heiner Lauterbach), she takes over the management of the school store "Schlüsselkinder" - pubescent teenagers, especially Josie (Franka Roche) Jacky and Jason, cause a lot of headaches, including wild party nights and love affairs for young and old.
