In Wiesbaden, "Bis in die Seele ist mir kalt" won the main prize for the ORF regional thriller and the special prize for Linde Prelog as Best Actress.

About Kevin Brand's role: Mario is unemployed, still lives with his mother and is characterized by a lack of prospects, which he likes to drown in alcohol. He actually embodies the entire mood of the movie. Desolation and dreariness paired with moments of unforced, cold humor make him seem lovable and at the same time lost and pitiful. He is suspected of having something to do with the murders.
