In the face of death
It is pure desperation and rage that drives him onto the hospital roof. Determined to put an end to his life, Louis stands on the edge. Despite his fear of heights, Marcel Glauche had to endure a whole day up there. While the camera revolved around him and the showdown was filmed as spectacularly as possible from different perspectives, he remained on the precipice for several minutes at a time. "At first I just felt woozy and then at some point I felt really sick. But that's just part of the job." Before filming began, the action crew in the background had explained to the Actors exactly how the technology he was secured with worked. "They were great, I had complete confidence in them." An extreme situation for both the Actors and Louis, whom he played. He suffers from heart failure and is actually waiting in hospital for a donor heart. However, when he learns that it has been given to an oligarch, he goes crazy. Alerted by the hospital, a policeman comes to Louis on the roof, with whom he has a fateful past. Director Nico Zavelberg staged the episode "The Price of Friendship" and skillfully teased all his acting ambition out of Marcel Glauche, even in the face of death. In retrospect, he is proud that he did this shoot. "It was worth it," says the Actors. If you want to see for yourself, you can get a brief foretaste here.
