On the road as a hipster

Pimp my ride - that may have been the motto of the engineers at Mercedes when they designed the new V-Class. At least that's how René Görgen felt when he was allowed to drive this high-tech vehicle for the Mercedes commercial. Fortunately, there were some extremely useful things on board for a hot summer's day in Berlin, such as a refrigerator and seat cooling. That's right, not just heated seats, but also a cooling system. "The car was mega, super cool," is Görgen's conclusion. And he should know, after all, he was allowed to cruise through Berlin in it for a day. In the role of a hip gallery owner, he drives through the capital and picks up friends along the way who want to go with him to an exhibition opening. And all in the V-Class. This journey was accompanied by the very latest technology, namely two 360-degree cameras. One camera was installed on the roof, the other on the passenger seat. The result is a commercial that is fun to watch. The 360-degree cameras allow the viewer to look around at will while driving. The navigation in the picture allows you to look in all directions. For example, you can take a look at Berlin, just as the camera on the roof captured the city on the journey. But there are also some interesting things to observe inside the car, such as René Görgen driving, the guests getting in, or the vehicle and its equipment itself. Technology that inspires!
