Dresden Murder - Night Shapes
In their second case together, Dresden Chief Inspector Bärbel Wallenstein and her daughter Kim investigate the mysterious murder of Romanian restaurant owner Marius Goian. A faked robbery-murder is only the first false trail, because as the autopsy reveals, the dead man has already died for the second time.Goian died his "first death" two years earlier, when he had worked under the name Selin for the red-light boss Aleksej Petrov in Frankfurt/Oder and was involved in a robbery that remains unsolved to this day. He wanted to testify against Petrov as an informant, but then he suddenly disappeared without a trace and Petrov now controls the Dresden milieu. Has he helped his former employee to go into hiding or has he silenced him for good? What role does the young hustler Roman play, who has been on the run since the night of the murder, and to what extent is his girlfriend Jessica, who wants to break out of her bourgeois family, involved? During their investigation, the Wallensteins, a mismatched mother-daughter duo, get caught up in a swamp of blackmail, lies and double standards behind respectable Dresden facades.with Anja Kling, Lisa Tomaschewsky, Tobias Oertel, Steffen Münster, Christian Erdmann, Axel Schreiber, Rick Okon, Helen Woigk, Robert Alexander Baer, Adrian Topol, Nicole Marischka, Ernst Stötzner, Stephanie Amarell, Andras Pietschmann, Jörg Westphal and others
