Friends Caro and Daniela meet up in Andalusia. They have been best friends ever since they met in a shipwreck 20 years ago and go on vacation together every year. But this year will be a special trip. At Caro's request, they are returning to Cádiz, where they first met. And while Daniela used to enjoy holding conference calls while on vacation, she lost her well-paid job shortly before the trip - the end of the world for the workaholic perfectionist. Caro, on the other hand, wants to celebrate life to the full, eat the best tapas, enjoy the warm nights and swim in the sea. Daniela is very preoccupied with herself and her life and doesn't realize that Caro is hiding a secret behind her zest for life: she is seriously ill. But Caro doesn't want pity. She doesn't want her vacation to be determined solely by her illness. On the contrary: she wants to enjoy the time and special moments with her friend. What is important in life? The supposedly carefree vacation becomes a confrontation with the value of life for both women and a test for their unique friendship.
