Es war ein schöner Fisch, aber er musste sterben, denn SECRET ist kein heiterer Film. Dass er auch ein berührender und ein seinem Titel gerecht werdender, geheimnisvoller Film mit Tiefgang werden konnte, dass hat er seiner Hauptdarstellerin Lilli Ray zu verdanken, die so eine besondere Art des Spielens zeigt, wie man es gar nicht beschreiben kann.
SECRET wurde zum European Short Film Festival nach Berlin eingeladen, hat 2 Preise in Merced, Kalifornien gewonnen und einen in Kargil, Kashmir. Für uns ist der indische Preis etwas ganz besonderes, dies liest man auf der Seite von Kargil:
The name Kargil is still associated with being a warzone. However, the war is long over and we are yet to overcome it. Through Kargil International Film Festival (KargilIFF), we aim to bridge that vacuum and globally showcase the beautiful, unexplored paradise of Kargil. First KargilIFF was held in May 2012 and after a period of 5 years we are rebooting this film festival. We want to showcase good cinema to the people of Kargil and inspire them into the art of film-making.
